Sixth Form hosted an Enrichment day to raise money for Marshlands Christmas Party. Marshlands is a school of about 50 pupils that have a range of special needs. Every year the sixth form like to put on a Christmas party; complete with Santa and gifts for all the students.
The fundraising day, held in the 6th form common room, was made up of an array of different stalls and games, from ping pong and ‘beat the goalie’ to cake and popcorn sales. Along with this, there was the opportunity to challenge your friends to a game of FIFA or balance some money on a floating lemon!
The day was a great success as £114 was raised for Marshlands along with another £39 being raised for Breast Cancer Now and £35 raised for the Young Enterprise group.
Thank you to all who contributed in anyway.

Last Wednesday (13th October), three primary schools were invited to King Edwards for a friendly football festival. Two teams came from Castle Church, two from Woodseaves and a team from Church Eaton. It was a very well organised event and run by Mrs Gibbs, the sports leaders and the Head Boy, Brandon.
The atmosphere was great and the Y5's and Y6's thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone was cheering when a goal was scored and when a goal was saved.
The final results table:
1st- Church Eaton
2nd-Castle Church 2
3rd- Woodseaves 1
Castle Church 1
4th- Woodseaves 2
Everyone went home with a massive smile on their faces. Everyone was involved even some of the parents looked more excited than the children! Overall it was a great turnout and everyone enjoyed themselves. Congratulations to all that took part, especially Church Eaton who won and thank you.

On the 14th October the Sixth Form fundraised for Macmillan Cancer support. We did this through playing rugby and selling cakes on the day. The main attraction was the Year 12’s taking on the Year 13’s, the Year 12’s won. We were very grateful for the support that we received during the lunch break from the lower school and from the sixth form who remained after the end of lunch.
The grand total of the day was £201.35!!
